Principal Architect

Principal Architect with over 40 years architectural experience. Responsible charge over a wide spectrum of projects valued at over 1 billion dollars, including state and federal projects, institutional and educational facilities, commercial office buildings, hospitality projects, medical facilities, retail buildings, aviation, and single and multi-family residential construction. 

Recognized specialties include commercial development, industrial automotive and trucking-related facilities, hospitality and hotels, retail developments, aviation facilities, and historic renovation.

Dan has extensive experience with various governmental agencies, such as the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, Bureau of Reclamation, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Economic Development Administration, Small Business Administration, Salt Lake City Corporation, Ogden City, and the State of Utah.  Through this experience, he has developed an excellent working knowledge of numerous guide specifications, state and federal contract requirements, procurement laws and procedures, and various model codes

Dan co-authored a 12-hour audio cassette training program published by McGraw-Hill, titled, “McGraw-Hill’s Complete Guide to Architectural Selling”. He lectures on numerous construction related topics, including selling to design professionals, construction documents, quality assurance programs, and basics for specifications writing.

M. Johan Vanzeben, RLA

Landscape Architect

Johan is a licensed Landscape Architect with a BS of Landscape Architecture from Utah State University. Surrounded by design from a young age, Johan began his design career by working as an architectural drafter in 2007, while attending high school.

Johan has experience in architecture, site planning, and entitlement coordination.  He is involved in real estate development. His project experience includes historic renovation and in-fill architecture, retail developments, hotels, office buildings, industrial structures and warehouses, multi-family, and single family residential.

He possesses a passion for the many varied climates and native plants of the Intermountain West and has developed the understanding and skill to incorporate this knowledge into his site and landscape designs.
